Dager og mager

So. There you are. Inside that bump. I wonder what you look like. How you are. Who you are. Please come say hello soon. And we´ll always have this memory of your first home.

Stell & sprell

We´re not buying one of those bags for diapers people have hanging from their prams. They´re both expensive and I find it hard to find a good looking one that will fit me and my man. Luckily we got this sack for christmas. We´ll have one of my bags for diapers and one of my bags for dirty clothes in it, filled with what Mini will need to get tidy outside the house. I made a little bag for dirty clothes today. I used some leftovers from an old shower curtain on the inside so it will tolerate poop and all that jazz. I also made a mat for changing diapers when out of the house. I used an old towel, some Ikea fabric and a piece of that shower curtain in the middle. Then we´ll have diapers, clean clothes and some rags in the other little bag. All together in the sack. I think this will do. Now just let our new little boss come say hello. We´re as ready as can be. If that´s even possible.

Making space

2 will become 3. I´ve made space for Mini in my workroom. Mini won´t need a room yet, so we will share. I´ve removed my fabrics under the bed. In boxes of course. Perfectly sorted after color. I also wanted more space by the walls so I moved our shelves out in our little hall in the attic. Compact living it is. And of course I have sorted out my sewing stuff and put it in boxes. I love boxes. As probably all nesters I´ve painted a bit and made a new cover for the babycrib. I will show you when it´s all ready. I still have the time. And some more plans. Next year.

Thank you for following, for all your comments and inspiration. Happy new year! 2013 must be it.

Poteito potato

I am also very pleased with one of my latest potato-stamp-project on baby clothing. Such an easy way to make your own little collection. Just cut out a pattern i half a potato, and dip it or put some textile paint on. Then go! You can see the result on instagram.
Don´t remember where I saw this idea, but I know I´m not the first one doing this.
