I´m committing a crime. I´m posting some of my inspiration, without links. I can´t remember where I found all of them. That was before Pinterest came into my world. Sorry. Collecting inspiration for a week end project I found these on my machine. I just can´t wait. Weeeee.

Elkika has borrowed me this book so I can look for inspiration. We´ll be doing some crazy stuff soon.  

Boazodánsa

Reindans. I hope you´ll get to see it once. It´s amazing. I don´t have words for it, I just loved it. So all I can do is to cut and paste from their site:  

The winter 2009, two dancers seized enough courage to enter the middle of a chaotic reindeer herd to dance. This unusual meeting with the reindeer herd and the cold landscape have resulted in the performance Reindans-Boazodánsa. Supported by film recordings from this special encounter, unique lightning and music, the dancers wish to share with the audience their experience in the reindeer herd, and visualize the enormous energy they were driven into. 

In Reindans – Boazodánsa dance is for the first time combined with traditional Sami reindeer herding. The performance seeks to recreate the cold atmosphere that is representative for the Sami, the Nordic and the Arctic sceneries.

"In the middle of the long white landscape, we approach the reindeer herd. I can feel the cold grab my body as I enter the reindeer herding fence. The temperature is below 24 minus degree. The wind is brutal, and the landscape offers no shelter. The area where the herd can move has been significantly reduced. Within a diameter of 8 meters the reindeers circle around us, with an enormous force. They push their way through, sometimes over, sometimes under the surrounding animals. They throw us out of balance. Climb each other. Gasping for air. I can feel antlers touch my skin. We are pulled into a powerful wave of motion".

Just another thing on the wall

I´ve spread our finnish cards around the house. Mixed with some old ones, ptints and a tag from cheap monday. This is our stairway. Stepping down the stairs every morning, tired. Glad to see some nice stuff on our wall. Still some work to be done on this dumb wall, though. 

New corner

New plans for this corner. Meanwhile I redecorate the wall with my new Etsy stuff. To be continued. 

Push it

Han er blitt en stjerne. En pop art stjerne. Med en historie som hentet fra en amerikansk film. Fra rennestein til blitsregn. Du husker Soft City? Kult å stikke innom åpning av utstilling og treffe på denne karen her. Selveste Pushwagner. I Romsas. Som attpåtil signerer, kjefter og forteller rare historier. Jeg falt for brain center. Men alle bildene ble litt for dyre for meg, så jeg kjøpte med meg katalog. Som jeg fikk signert. Før han slengte fra seg tusjen, ropte: "SÅNN!" og marsjerte ut med rødvinsmelkeglasset sitt. Han var nok røyksugen. 

Pushwagner is in town. And I´ve met him. Hello. 

Tunst

Som kunstneren selv sier. Herlige gaver fra den søteste 3åring. Tante er stolt av at hun er opptatt av tunst allerede.

Utested her hjemme som har skjønt det. Lokal up-and-coming kunstner har fått boltre seg på veggen. Jeg digger disse, minner meg om Starlet.

Kine har studert i Australia, men er nå tilbake i gamlebyen. Hun var Døgnillfestivalens festivalkunstner i fjor. Da tegnet hun blandt annet reinhorn på Snoop Dog. På vegg altså. 

Digitale illustrasjoner til byens gratisavis Grus. Liker liker liker.

Denne kunne jeg lett hatt på veggen hjemme. Rypejakt.

Local artist Kine Yvonne Berntsen has decorated a nightclub in town. I really like her works, and I hope we´ll see more of it. 

Kjedelige dager?

Jeg kunne godt levd uten tv. Det er kjedelig. Og alt for mye vas som vises. Jeg er enig med postern over.

Fant disse snasne verkene hos tomo77. Jeg forsvant helt inn i hans verden. Vil ha på veggen.
