Hormonella

Waiting. Just waiting. Spending a lot of time on the coach. Looking around. Wanting to change something. Add. Remove. Paint. Something seems to be wrong with our dining-part of the livingroom. Such a nonimportant detail. Almost making me mad.  So after some advice on instagram I added a mat under our table. And Elkika made a dripping area to our big wall art. Yeah. So much better. Those hormones!

Heart it

This summer I fell in love with the danish artist Kristina Dam and her flat. She uses all the shapes I fancy. I´ve so wanted an anatomic heart for ages. When I found these postcards in her shop I just had to order some. What`s facinating is that I see something new everyday. Can you see it too? I also want a big poster from her, but we´ll have to discuss that at home. I felt the same when I saw this poster from Snug too. It was cheap so I just ordered it. Yeah. Cheap fix. 

Nice flat

Cool details from my friends´ apartment in Nørrebro, Copenhagen. I love their art, furniture, floor and the smart shelf for tea. Made out of two cd racks. Good idea, right? They have done so much work here and made a really cosy home for themselves. And for visitors. I am lucky to go see them now and then.

Art fart

Thank you Julia, for making such cool posters. I ordered one during winter brake. Now I`ve framed my diamond. Which came all the way from Amsterdam. I even got two of those amazing robots too. Still- all this art is kind of cheap. From left I´ve framed a towel from Marimekko, a plastic bag from Rema, my diamond from Rock that horse, a print from Marimekko, put some textile on canvas and added a postcard in the end. Yeah.

I love all about being an aunt. And having a winter brake. 

Sickalo

I´m just a sickalo. And my coffee tastes medicine. But it´s ok. These sketches remind me of good times. Which we will have more of. I need lots of good vibrations this spring. Things doesn´t always work out the way I want them to. So then I try to focus on something else. So what to focus on? Happy. Happy waiting. Happy things. Happy people. Happy feelings. I´m getting a real champ in waiting. Now I will get better on happy waiting.

FrIeNdLy ArT

We decided this to be a piece of living art. We can add and change it as we want to. The bobble will get some chalkboard paint. It´s  great to have arty, lovely friends who spend a day in our home to make this big piece of art.   

En ArTy dag- behind the scenes

I´m blessed with my arty friends/collegues Elkika og Yvonne. They´re such creative angels. Last Saturday we made art together. Over a period I sent them pictures of what I like, and Elkika has sent me pictures of what she thinks I might like. Then we decided together. Made some decisions. Lines, balance, colors... They drew sketches, changed them, projected it on the wall, changed some more, drew and painted. I gave comments, painted a little, bought sushi and gave some massage. I´ve told you about Yvonne earlier. Just check out some of her wall paintings here. She´s so talented. You can buy art from her. Yes you can. And Elkika you already know. She´s an artist too. But that you should know by now. This secret project did not just include us, but also help from my father and a carpenter with a big car. I love projects that put people together. Thank you all! I feel better when I look at our wall. Almost like I forget my fever. 

En ArTy dag

I have amazing friend. We did as we planned. Not just planned. We actually did it. Just do it! That´s our new favorite line. Yesterday was amazing. Yoga, arts, sushi, wine, gifts, friends, candy, dresses, make-up... I will show you more soon. It´s still a secret for someone. Thank you girls, I love you so.
